Among my people for handfuls of barley To slay ? The souls that should not die And save the souls ? That should not live By your ? Lying to my people that hear your lies
V20 I am against your ? Pillows With which you hunt the ? Souls to make them fly I will tear ? Them from your arms V22 Because with lies ? You have made the heart of the righteous sad Whom ? I have not made sad And strengthened the hands ? Of the wicked That he should not ? Return from his wicked ways By ? Promising him life V23 Therefore you shall see ? No more vanity nor vain divinations I will deliver ? My people out of your hand You shall know ? That I am the Lord

V1 Then came ? Certain of the elders of Israel unto me V2 The Word ? Of the Lord came unto me V3 These men ? Have set up their idols in their hearts And put ? The stumblingblock of their iniquity before their face Should ? I be enquired of at all by them V4 Speak ? To every man that sets his idols in his heart And puts ? A stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face And comes ? To the prophet The Lord will answer ? Him according to the multitude of his idols
V5 That I may ? Take Israel in their own heart Because they are ? Estranged from me through their idols V6 Say to Israel ? Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols Turn away ? Your faces from all your abominations V8 I will set my face ? Against that man And make him ? A sign and a proverb I will ? Cut him off from the midst of my people Ye shall know ? That I am the Lord V9 If the prophet is deceived ? When he has spoken a thing The Lord has ? Deceived that prophet I will stretch ? Out my hand upon him And will ? Destroy him from the midst of my people
V10 They shall bear ? The punishment of their iniquity The punishment ? Of the prophet Shall be even ? As the punishment of him that seeks unto him V11 That the house of Israel may ? For the which ? I lifted up my hand To ? Give it to them Then they saw ? Every high hill They offered there ? Their sacrifices There they ? Presented the provocation of their offering There they made ? Their sweet savour And poured out ? Their drink offerings V29 Then I said unto them ? What is the high place where you go? The name is called ? Bamah unto this day
V30 Are you polluted ? After the manner of your fathers And do you commit whoredom after ? Their abominations V31 When you offer ? Your gifts And ? Make your sons pass through the fire You pollute yourselves ? With your idols Shall I ? Be enquired of by you As I live ? I will not be enquired of by you V32 That which comes into ? Your mind Shall ? Not happen at all When you say we will be ? As the heathen As the families of the countries, to serve wood and stone
V33 As I live, says the Lord ? With a mighty hand and a stretched out arm And with ? Fury poured out will I rule over you V34 I will bring you out ? From the people And will gather you out ? From the countries wherein you are scattered V35 I will bring you into ? The wilderness of the people There will I plead ? With you face to face V36 Like as I pleaded with ? Your fathers in the wilderness of Egypt
V37 I will cause you to ? Pass under the rod I will bring you ? Into the bond of the covenant V38 I will purge out from ? Among you the rebels Them that ? Transgress against me I will bring them forth ? Out of the country where they sojourn They shall not enter ? Into the land of Israel And ye shall know ? That I am the Lord V39 As for you, go serve ? Every one of you his idols
V43 There shall you remember ? Your ways and your doings Wherein you ? Have been defiled And you shall ? Loathe yourselves in your own sight For all ? V2 Set your face toward Jerusalem ? Drop your word toward the holy places Prophesy ? Against the land of Israel V3 Say to ? The land of Israel I am ? Against you, and will draw forth my sword And cut off ? From you the righteous and the wicked V4 My sword shall ? Go forth out of its sheath, from north to south V5 That all flesh may know ? That I the Lord have drawn forth my sword It shall not ? Return anymore
V6 Sigh ? Before their eyes V7 When they say ? Why do you sigh You answer ? For the tidings, because it comes Every heart ? Shall melt, and every hand be feeble Every spirit ? Shall faint All hands ?
