The list of the book of the bible let us find out what each book of the bible speaks about so that you can have an insight on what each book of the bible speaks about . We understand that the knowledge and light that each book of the bible has is unlimited as Spiritual things are spiritually discerned. The bible is not a normal book. The words are inspired of God . God chose special men to write the bible .
Thus the light and knowledge and understanding one can have enlightened by God on each book is unlimited. It means that we can read one verse one day and understand one thing, then read this same chapter 100 times and understand many other things we did not understand the first time. Why is that ? We find out that God is the one that desires the truth He reveals truth and how much truth to reveal. 1 CO 2 14 ' But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. In the book of Daniel The list of books of the bible
it says that this book was already available to read but that God blocked the understanding of this book until the time of the end. DA 12 4 'But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. ' God choses how much truth to reveal and how much to seal . In fact seeking to understand the list of the books of the bible,
we find out that Jesus also spake in parables so that the truth He spoke were only understood to though to whom God chose. JN 9 39 'And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.'
The Pharisees claimed to be spiritual but the spiritual words spoken were like a mystery to them . The apostles who were simple men God enlightened to understand the parables. When Jesus spake to Nicodemus that one needs to be born again to be saved. Nicodemus was so unspiritual that he said Do i need to go in my mothers womb again .
The understanding was darkened. The bible is only revealed to those to whom God wants to reveal truth to . JN 9 40 'And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?' The Pharisees did not understand the truth, but they understood that Jesus hid the truth to them so that they would not take Him. And so that the simple people could understand the truth and be saved. This really angered the Pharisees who saw themselves as highly spiritual , not understanding that they were really carnal and natural.

JN 9 41 'Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.' Jesus told them that as they claimed to know the truth and as the Pharisees were leaders of the people , teaching the truth to others, then their sin remains as they heard the truth and did not believe in it .
Their sin was pride and unbelief.
In learning the list of the books of the bible we understand that it is better for someone to not hear the truth as thus they are not judged as someone who hears the truth and rejects it . Their sin is then unbelief, unbelief comes from a dishonest heart. As all honest persons will accept the truth . Does it mean that we need to not listen to the truth and this we will not be judge by God ? No as all persons on earth as the personal responsibility to seek and accept the truth . It is like someone moving to a different country, they have the responsibility to know what the laws are. Not that human laws have anything to do with helping you make it to heaven. As one can follow all human laws and remain a selfish proud unloving person .
But commands us to obey human laws. The same way all humans are responsible to seek for what truth is .If we do not want to know the truth , then we are as responsible as the person who rejects the truth . In not knowing the truth i mean that one that never read the bible and living in a country where it is prohibited to read the bible , this person will be judge less harshly that the person who studied the truth and rejected it . Let us go through all the list of the books of the bible and find out what do they all teach .
Genesis
The book of Genesis contains fifty chapters. Here we have the details on how God created the universe in 6 days and rested the seventh day . This is the basis of the bible as if creation goes then there is no need of believing in the rest of the bible if God did not create the universe. We need to examine this topic of creation vs evolution . We find out that all things to exist need to be planned. Evolution teaches that all things came to be without planning . This is not scientific. Evolution is taught as science ? But evolution is a religion mixed with science .
The scientific facts mixed with the religion called evolution makes it a dangerous deception for millions who not only truth in earthly diplomas, but in the scientist who teaches those things. What they teach is believed without a second thought . As many people on earth believe that all that is established by men must be true. Nothing can exist unless planned. A car a shoe, a plane. The from an evolutionistic point of view, the only way in evolution that things came to be is by magic. A piece of wood in a forest becoming a castle is no less magical than believing than an explosion made a rock, then turned into a soup, that became the universe. Or as evolutionists believe a cell became an animal such as a bird who in very long periods became a human being. This is not scientific but the belief in magic. Exodus
The book of Exodus speaks about Israel leaving Egypt where they were captive. This book shows the amazing power of God and his love for his people . God loves his people so much that He is ready to move earth and sky to deliver them from the wicked. The 10 plagues of Egypt are amazing miracles that show God makes a difference between truth and lies, between those who serve God and those who serve Him not.

The proof we have that the bible is inspired of God is bible prophecy . No men can say what will happen year 3000 june 1. As God often tells us what will happen in advance even 2000 years in advance. It shows that 1 God lives in the future 2 if God live sin the future it means that God is divine. 3 If God is divine it means that the bible is true and God is real.
Such a prophecy is found in Genesis, it became truth. We can trust the bible to be inspired of God .
GE 15 13 And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years; 14 And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.
Leviticus
Leviticus are Moses laws given besides the 10 commandments. Reading this book we can understand the mind of God . We can understand what God loves and hates. We see in this book that what God sees as right and wring is very different that what today society sees as right and wrong . In Leviticus we find that God created some animals to clean up the earth, and other one were made to be eaten .
Reading the list of the books of the bible i love to read Leviticus 15 to chapter 18 there we see that God sees sex much differently that we do today for the which you can read my past articles such as Is sex out marriage a sin and are Christians allowed to date . In Leviticus God gives the plan to build the temple with its sacrifice pointing to the death of Jesus . The sanctuary is one of the most important bible teaching as what is Jesus doing now ? Did Jesus start the judgment ? If so When will the judgement end?
Jesus has started to judge all humans since the end of the 2300 year prophecy found in Daniel 8 14 . When Jesus was baptised He said The time is fulfilled ? Which time was fulfilled ? The time of Daniel 9 where it explains denial 2300 prophecy that says from Jerusalem rebuilt in 457 Bc to Messiah anointed or baptised 483 years later is 27 ad . So 457 bc + 2300 is 1844 . Jesus has passed to the most holy place in 1844 .
Since that time we are being judged and Jesus is deciding now who will make it to heaven and who will not . In fact in revelation 14 Jesus says, my people will give the end time message called the 3 angels message . The first angel is the sanctuary message which says
RE 14 7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
This judgment time is also the cleansing of the sanctuary . All people are now being decided for heaven of eternal destruction . We live in a solemn time in the which the case of all human beings living and dead is being decided by Jesus in the most holy place. Will you be found worthy to enter heaven by Gods grace ? If not why ?
Numbers
In The list of the books of the bible, we have the book of numbers we see Gods judgments on Israel who complains and does not believe in Gods provision . We see a lack of trust in God and God making the nation of Israel to waster in the wilderness for 40 years.
Deuteronomy
The book of Deuteronomy is a repeat of the law the 10 commandments. In this book Moses dies, and God punishes Moses in not entering the promised land because Moses took glory to himself when he struck the rock and got angry against the people of Israel. Moses was saying i am the one who can bring water from the rock. Thus God punished him and Moses did not enter into the promised land .
NU 20 10 He and Aaron gathered the assembly together in front of the rock and Moses said to them, “Listen, you rebels, must we bring you water out of this rock?” 11 Then Moses raised his arm and struck the rock twice with his staff. Water gushed out, and the community and their livestock drank.
Joshua
The book of Joshua is the entering to the promised land. The list of the books of the bible. The Jordan river parted and Israel went through up to the promised land where pang pagan tribes lived. Similar as in denial chapter 2 where after Rome, there came a division and the pagan tribes fell or were converted to Christianity .
In this example God Himself gave the land to Israel , they had sure success as those pagan tribes worshipped devils and God gave them the victory. As long as the nation of Israel had Moses and Joshua they had some faithfulness to God . They were more faithful with Joshua than with Moses. As we see in the wandering that they were rebels
In the book of Joshua we find when the Angel of the Lord appears to Joshua who asks Him.
Jo 5 13 13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?
We understand that the Angels of the Lord is not an angel but Jesus appearing in the old testament times. Angel means messenger. The Angel of the Lord appears to Moses, to Samson parents, to Abraham and every time He accepted worship. We know angels do not accept worship in re 19 10 . This can only mean that the Angel of the Lord is Jesus .
Judges
Judges is an amazing book. In the list of the books of the bible it is one of my favourite. I love to read when God is very different that we are as humans . God can be very unpredictable and in the book of Judges we see that such as in the story of Samson . Why does God tell Samson not to cut his hair and why would amazing strength and power come from hair not cut ? This is fascinating and original . God is so different that we are .
Why would God continue to give Samson power even after he sees a prostitute and after he sleeps with different single women ? Would it not be a sin ? Read my articles on Are Christians allowed to date and is sex out of marriage a sin ? But Samson ending is very sad and it comes about because his own people rejected and gave him up to the enemies of Israel who were the Philistines. Interesting to note that Philistines lived where today Palestinian live.
We hope peace comes upon all people and everybody started loving each other.
In judges Israel starts to worship the false gods of the nations and God punishes them . Their enemies start to have the victory . But God sends them Judges to deliver them. The 12 judge sin the book of Judges are Gedeon, Othniel, Ehud, Shamgar, Deborah, Tola, Jair, Jephthah, Ibzan, Elon, Abdon, Samson
Ruth
After a famine in Israel a man takes his family and leaves the country. He dies and leaves his widow Naomi with one of his daughter in law Ruth . She starts to work in a field as they were pressed and Boaz to whom the field belonged shows her favour. He finds out that he can redeem the family and raise up an heir. In this case we see that the women is the one who asks the men to nary him.
And Boaz ends up marrying Ruth . They become the grand parents of king David. We see in the list of the books of the bible that it is an image is Jesus redeeming humanity and the church who was lost in sins .
Jesus had the right to redeem all human beings. As only the blood of God can bring pardon to all sins for all humans. In his great love Jesus choses to die one day for the human race. And at the time appointed Jesus was born, baptised in 27 ad and died in 31 ad in his immense love for you and me . Who can reject this incredible love? Who can refuse such pure unselfish love from the Creator who cares so much for you?
1 Samuel
A barren women cries in the temple. The priest thinks the is drunk. She says no but that she was so because she could not have a child. Finally God answers her prayers and she dedicates Samuel to God . Eli the prophet during the night hears God calling the boy Samuel. Eli tells Samuel that God is calling him, as Sanuel being a boy did not know the Lord yet.
In the list of the books of the bible, Samuel anoints Saul king. He who was little in his own eyes became proud, then God punished him and gave the kingdom to David a humble shepherd boy who slayed Goliath . Samuel is the one who anoints David king. After Samuel dies, Saul and Jonathan his son die in battle .
2 Samuel
This is the story of king David . He is crowned king in Hebron, the capital of Israel is then moved to Jerusalem, who was known as Salem, then a pagan city which was taken over by the Jews. David was much loved by God, in fact the bible calls his a man after Gods own heart. Someone who did and acted as God loved . David was someone who understood God and was a friend of God .
As our Creator is very different that we limited humans are, people often do not understand God and they judge Him according to their limited understanding . The bible is often understood and explained in a earthly way . David was someone who studied the bible and understood God and what makes god happy and unhappy .
But David sinned when he made Bathsheba s husband to be on the front line of the battle to die so that he could marry her. It is incredible to see that when we understand that David had 700 wives and 300 girlfriends concubines. Why did he do such a thing hen he was in abundance? God punished him and killed the son that would have come out of Bathsheba.
1 Kings
In the list of the books of the bible in 1 Kings David dies and Solomon his son reigns. But because Solomon loved many strange women . Note it does not say that Solomon was wring to love many women, it says strange women which means, those women turned the heart of Solomon from worshipping only the true God of the bible . At that time the 10 tribes of the North separate from Rehoboam who was Solomon s son who reigned after him .
Solomon descendents had Benjamin and Judah as the 2 tribes of Judah. North Israel the 10 tribes were called Samaria. They were still Israel but after the deportation to Assyria, they started to worship more pagan gods and their worship became extremely confused. So much so that when Jesus was on earth, the Samaritan were almost seen as a foreign people and nation . All northern kings were wicked, this is also the time of Jezebel and Ahab the wicked kingly couple who struggled spiritually with prophet Elijah .
2 Kings
In the list of the books of the bible this is where we find some of the most amazing miracles of God through Elijah and Elisha. Elisha receives a double portion of the Holy Spirit when Elijah leaving earth in chariots of fire and lets his mantle drop the the ground. Quite incredible the ways of God . Young men come to mock Elisha, who
2 KI 2 24 And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the Lord. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.
1 Chronicles
Mostly the same as 1 and 2 Samuel
2 Chronicles
This book also is mostly the same as 1 and 2 Samuel explain din a different way .
Ezra
This is the book where we find the 3rd decree in Ezra 7 for the Jews to return and build Jerusalem. This is the start of the 2300 day prophecy found in Daniel 8 14 Which is the start of the 2300 years which end up in 1844 when Jesus entered the most holy place to decide everybody destiny . In the list of the books of the bible Ezra is the end of the 70 years captivity in Babylon .
A descendent of David Zerubabel which means out of Babylon, which is the 2nd of the 3 angels message of revelation 14 which is the last and most important message for planet earth . Zerubabel starts the rebuilding of the temple of Jerusalem . The rebuilding stops for 15 years because of opposition, but 2 prophets Haggai and Zechariah encourage them to rebuilding Jerusalem temple .
Ezra brings 2000 people to Jerusalem with him about 60 years after the temple is rebuilt. Some Jews in Babylon did not want to return to Jerusalem they had started stable lives over in Babylon and wee happy there.
Nehemiah
I always remember the end of the book of Nehemiah when it says that because people did not keep the sabbath, as the Jews had mixed themselves with paganism and were not true to God any more. It says that Nehemiah spit on them, cursed them and pulled their hair . This was also in response to them being so mixed with other nations that some could not speak Hebrew any more.
In the list of the books of the bible Nehemiah is also one of the book about the return to Israel after the 70 years captivity in Babylon . This return was done with the 3 rd decree in 457 Bc. This is important as Jesus said when He was baptised The time is fulfilled? Which time was fulfilled? The 69 weeks of the 483 years from 457 bc out of the 2300 year prophecy . This 69 weeks ended in 27 when Jesus was baptised in the exact time predicted.
The book of Nehemiah starts with him being sad as cupbearer of the King of Media and Persia. The king then makes a decree for the Jew to return to Jerusalem and rebuild the temple . Opposers to the rebuilding arrive, but finally the temple is rebuilt.
With strong cries from the old people who had known Solomon s temple and saw how much more beautiful and powerful Solomon temple was compared to this temple . Yet the bible says that this temple will have more glory? Why? Because Jesus when on earth walked trough the grounds of this temple .
Esther
In the list of the books of the bible, the book of Esther is a powerful bible book in the which it tells about the Jew being captive in Media Persia .A kings official Naman tried to destroy the Jews and made it that a law would be passed so that all the Jews in the kingdom would be killed. Ester intercedes for the Jews.
The king understands what has happened and tells the Jews that they could defend themselves in that night of planned slaughter against the Jews. Then the Jewish people are delivered from massacre. This is an image of the mark of the beast also known as the Sunday law. In the which the whole world will unite against the sabbath keepers and those who preach the 3 angels message . But Jesus will intervene to save them from destruction .
Job
The book of Job is the oldest book in the bible . It relates the event that Satan went to a counsel of the universe with all the representatives of all planets. And God showed Job to Satan who said Job only loves you because of what you give to him. But take away his blessings and Job will curse you . The first of the list of the books of the bible, God allows Satan to curse Job and he takes away all his cattle, his children die, his wife even tells Job to curse God . Job also has painful boils on his skin.
In the book of Job, three of his friends come to comfort him, but we see that his friends were legalists and instead of comforting Job, they told him that his sufferings were because of his sins. Job three friends were Eliphaz, Bildad, and Zophar . The book is amazing and very interesting to read. At the end of the book of Job we see that God blesses Job 7 times more because he was faithful to God and did not leave the truth .
Job 42 12 The Lord blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the former part. He had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, a thousand yoke of oxen and a thousand donkeys. 13 And he also had seven sons and three daughters. 14 The first daughter he named Jeremiah, the second Keziah and the third Keren-Happuch. 15 Nowhere in all the land were there found women as beautiful as Job’s daughters, and their father granted them an inheritance along with their brothers.
In the book of Job we find amazing questions God asks Job, the which are excellent to give to your atheist friends. They show that we do not know much and God has all wisdom and knowledge . And unless we trust God and give Him all the glory human wisdom and understanding is foolishness.
Psalms
In the list of the books of the bible we find this comforting book the psalms which are so filled with Gods love and kindness. Then if in any trouble this is the book to read and study . Every time I went through a very difficult time, the book of psalms really helped me to pull out of desperation and suffering .
Some f the favourite famous psalms are psalm 23 Psalm 91 Most psalms were written by king David, a few psalms had other authors.
Proverbs
Being from Europe were a lot of poets started their career, God led me to read the proverbs first. I loved the way Solomon put things inspired by the Holy Spirit. This book is one of my favourite. Solomon was asked of God to ask Him one thing and God would grant it . Solomon did not ask for riches, but for wisdom to be able to lead Israel with intelligence. This is what God gave him and Solomon was the wisest men that ever lived on earth.
It must have been something to be around Solomon. What made Solomon fall was not that he had many wives and girlfriends then called concubines. But that they were pagans, and the wrong thing Solomon did was to worship false gods to please his wives. God through Solomon made solver to be as common in Jerusalem as stones. This was the most prosperous time in Israel history . After Solomon fell, the kingdom was divided into 10 tribes for the north which were called Samaria and Judah 2 tribes in the south .
Ecclesiastes
Ecclesiastes is also an amazing book where we find the wisdom of Solomon . An incredible book where Solomon explains what is under the sun and the vanity of doing things just to die one day and leave your things to someone else. The main point of the book is that all that matters on earth is to love God and know Him. Another point that many Christians miss that Ecclesiastes also says that all that matters for men is to enjoy life, have a good time eat and drink . Often Christians are sad and try to live by rules and traditions .
When they will end their lives, they will realize that they could have had much more fun and happiness as God called and created us to be happy which is the original goal of why God created us in the first place.
EC 3 12 I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life. 13 And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.
Song of Solomon (or Song of Songs)
This is the sexual book of the bible, even if we see sex all over the bible, in the list of the books of the bible sex is very graphic. Song of Solomon is also an image of Jesus love for his church . Jesus loves us much and his church is like the bride.
Isaiah
The Jews because of unfaithfulness were deported to Babylon . Israel north were deported to Assyria. After much love and admonition, God finally ended his patience with Israel and could not but send punishment to them which was deportation to Babylon. The books of Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and various of the minor prophets were written in the times of the deportation to Babylon .
In Isaiah we have this amazing prophecy in Isaiah 53, of the death and life of Jesus . In fact there are around 300 prophecies about Jesus before his birth . Which makes the bible absolutely true and inspired of God. As no one could know before hand what would happen unless God inspired the bible .
IS 53 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
Isaiah means salvation of God . This book is filled with God judgments on a people who have rejected the truth and worshipped false Gods. Here we see the amazing love of God who cares for his people and wants them to return to Him.
Jeremiah
The book of Jeremiah is also amazing . Even if we see in these major prophets the side of Gods judgments, we see that God does not like things that our society never condemns such as pride, selfishness, rude and unking behaviour, and worshipping idols which is in our modern world self worship .
LamentationsThis is a powerful short book in the bible also written by Jeremiah. These are strong cries for the woes of Israel that preferred self worship and following their reason rather than following the truth .we all have a choice to follow truth or error to worship Hod or worship self. the satanic influence in Israel was very strong , image worship was everywhere and the whole nation seemed given to idolatry .
God is slow to anger, slow to punish, but Gods patience has a limit. When that limit is passed the Gods judgments fall. it is like a dad warns his child, but the child continues doing bad even of warned multiple times . The dad has no other option in love but to punish the child. As Ellen g white the prophet said all that the prophets said in the old testament is as much in effect today than then. Those warnings are very relevant today and each rime you see ta word Israel you can put modern Laodicean church instead .Ezekiel the book of Ezekiel is also given around the time of the time of Jews in Babylon. those 3 books Isaiah Jeremiah and Ezekiel are very powerful and sadly rarely preached in today world They are a rebuke to Israel as well as for today lukewarm church which does little to bring the truth to the rest of the world who are perishing without knowing that Jesus truly cares for them.They are a rebuke for today church who has no clue what sin is . the idolatry of the Jews is transformed into self worship today. it is very similar as pagan idolatry was a refusal for the Jews to accept tbe truth and do what they pleased.Today self worship is not seen as a sin yet in all the gospel Jesus spent most of his rime talking jabot those sins such pride, selfishness, apathy, unbelief, legalism, rudeness among others .
People today worship their own reasoning powers and refuse to follow a thus says the Lord.many Christians would rather follow society s standards rather than what God says . What is highly esteemed in this world is abomination for God. We know in the end times those who will accept the mark of the beast will not enter heaven . Of such many will be Christians that will be wordly minded . The bible also warns us Do not follow a multitude to do evil.the book of Ezekiel applies to Israel as well to the church they are punishments for a world that refuses the truth, refuses to love their neighbour, refuses to follow the narrow way .Israel preferred to worship idols as other nations, they knew the truth, but self gained the mastery in worship and believing what one wants to see as truth.Daniel This is one of the most important book in the bible with the book of revelation. here we have the end of the world described in detail . denial 12 tells us those words would be closed until the time of the end. Gabriel tells us the time of the end ends after 1260 years of the Antichrist or papacy reign which ended in 1798..Daniel warns us of false worship Nebuchadnezzar makes an image of gold and sends Daniel' and his three friends inside furnace of fire for not worshipping the image . in days the governments will pass a Sunday law, also called be mark of the beast. all those who will not worship on Sunday will be killed .The great issue will be worshipping God or sponsorship as men dictates. Daniel also tells is that Nebuchadnezzar because of pride becomes like an animal for 7 years .
God hates pride as pride is robing Gods glory and lying saying we can do things without God .Malachi says all the proud will be ashes even if they claim to be Christians. God is no respecter of persons and even the greatest king was eating grass naked line a beast.Daniel 7 tells us that there are 7 signs that tell is who the Antichrist is . it comes from the 4 rthe beast Rome, it destroys 3 Europe pagan tribes, it thinks to change the sabbath to Sunday , even if nobody can change the bible .if kills many saints or Christon during the 1260 year of papal persecution.
it reigns for 1260 years . from 538 to 1798 . who is this power ? it is the papacy called the historian or Babylon or the man of sin in the bible .the book of daniel goes together with revelation as for example the 4 beasts of 13 are the same as denial 7 beasts . it is fascinating to study the time frame in the bible as the 1260, the 2300, the 1290 and the 1315 days . Daniel prophecies are so precise that we can be sure the bible can only be inspired by a divine hand woo lives in the future and knows all things Hosea
This is a very interesting book in the bible where God tells prophet Hosea to find a prostitute and marry her . Here we see that God works in unusual ways . God not only tells Hosea that, but God tells Hosea again to take another prostitute a few chapters later. There is no sign that God told Hosea to divorce the first woman. In fact in the second women the bible says that God tells Hosea to buy her for money . God says My ways are not your ways . As my thoughts are above your thoughts, so are my ways above your ways .
In the list of the books in the bible, this was a sign that Israel became unfaithfull to God and God still loved Israel even if Israel went after other lovers , in other gods as the bible says . In fact this was a sign that God was married to two women at the same time Samaria and Judah . Both became unfaithful to God . Even if God provided for them, they did not see that God was the one helping and blessing them .
In fact in Hosea it says that the gild and silver that God gave them was used to sacrifice to idols. This book is about God wanting pt punish Israel for its unfaithfulness and going after other lovers or idols .
HO 11 “When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son. 2 But the more they were called, the more they went away from me.[a] They sacrificed to the Baal and they burned incense to images. 3 It was I who taught Ephraim to walk, taking them by the arms; but they did not realize it was I who healed them. 4 I led them with cords of human kindness, with ties of love. To them I was like one who lifts a little child to the cheek, and I bent down to feed them.
5 “Will they not return to Egypt and will not Assyria rule over them because they refuse to repent? 6 A sword will flash in their cities; it will devour their false prophets and put an end to their plans. 7 My people are determined to turn from me. Even though they call me God Most High, I will by no means exalt them. 8 “How can I give you up, Ephraim? How can I hand you over, Israel? How can I treat you like Admah? How can I make you like Zeboyim? My heart is changed within me; all my compassion is aroused.'
Joel
Joel is also written in times of apostasy of Israel We understand that ancient Israel is modern Israel and all prophecies from the old testament are applicable in the new testament . Written in times of draught and and locust plague. God wanted Israel to return from idolatry or spiritual adultery . Instead of asking God for blessings Israel went away to idols and God finally punished Israel for commuting idolatry and despising the mercy and love of God .
Amos
The book of Amos is different in the way that instead of punishing Israel for leaving the love and kindness of God and being ungrateful for all the love God showed Israel. Other nations are warned in the book of Amos. As we know that Jesus says that all nations will mourn because of His return . As most people follow this world and not the truth .
Most people will have a rude awakening in understanding that we are required to follow the truth . Even if all the world goes astray, we need to follow God and his truth . The apostles said We rather obey God than men . The reason why God sends punishments is that men sin in sight of light and knowledge . But many people prefer to follow what other people do rather than follow what the bible says .
Obadiah this book is about the terrible judgments that fell on edom . When Israel was punished and deported to Babylon Edom saw it and rejoiced at their suffering.Edom joined in and blocked Israeli from fleeing, Edom spoiled Israel and abused them when they were down.this is a book where God tells us that God does not take lightly those who abuse and mistreat Gods people . the bible says he who touches the apple of my eye . Jesus also said it is better for a mill to be hanged upon someone neck , rather than they would ofens one of Gods servant . it is not easy to follow God when the majority is against humility , honesty and truth. God will never leave those dear souls that tell others the way to escape the coming judgments .The book of Obadiah tells us that even if the evil continues long in sin, Gods judgments in loving rebuke surely fall . With the book of Obadiah you can be sure that God takes care of you , that God sees what you are going through. Jonah
Jonah is the story of a men God calls to warn a city Nineveh that destruction would come in a few days because they had passed the boundary of Gods patience and forbearance. But Jonah was not wanting to give the warning as Jonah did not like the people of Nineveh . So Jonah takes a boat to go far away from Nineveh.
God sends a wind and Jonah is thrown overboard and find himself in the belly of a whale . This shows that God is very peculiar to have us follow his will when we are called by Him . Then finally Jonah goes to Nineveh and gives the warning .
What happens is that the whole city repents, fasts even the animals . And Gods wrath is turned away from this city . We see here that prophecies are conditional and God can take away the punishment if people repent on time . But we learn that after that Nineveh went back to do evil and God finally destroyed the city .
Micah
In all these warnings we see the love of God for a people who turned from His love to worship idols that do not love them back ./ We see in the punishment of Israel as In this book of Micah that the world we live in , in a great manner has reached the sins and boundary of Gods patience . It is time to see that these warnings to Israel are applicable to the church and the world today ; Will we be warned?
Will we turn back to reading the bible, praying , telling others of Gods love and loving our neighbour? Will we repent and humble ourselves to do good through Gods righteousness? The book of Micah is another warning as many books of the bible are about the wicked world we live in now . Please turn and come back to God before it is too late.
Nahum
Like the book of Jonah, Nahum talks about Nineteenth and its destruction . In the book of Jonah we found out that the whole people repented and God did not send the judgments. As Jonah walked in the city and warned of its soon destruction . Men and beasts fasted and asked forgiveness. Then God repented of the evil He wanted to send.
We know that each individual and nation has a limit. When they pass that limit then the judgments of God fall. Limit for doing what. For rebellion, pride, selfishness, hate, unloving, unkind spirit. Apathy, unbelief, legalism . These are the things we see repeatedly I the bible that are contrary to Gods love. In this book of Nahum we find out that Nineteenth was finally destroyed, after they repented and God turned away his wrath.
Nineteenth went back to doing evil and was finally destroyed. A warning to the whole world of its soon coming doom and destruction . Only those who will receive the seal of God which is the sabbath, that received the 3 angels message and go by Gods righteousness instead of their own will be shielded in the coming punishments that are coming on earth . Please repent and ask God to protect you .
Habakkuk
In the book of Habakkuk the question is asked how can God send Babylonians to punish his own people . God answers that His ways are higher than our ways and that we cannot judge Gods actions as God is wiser than we are . God did send Assyrians and Babylon to deport Israel. This shows that God can use even non believers to do his will .
They are still creatures of God and as God is all powerful He can move in the minds of evil people to do his will. When Gods people go too far we see that God even used Islam to punish Catholicism in the middle ages we read that in revelation chapter 9 .
Who will God use in the end times to protect his people against the union of the beast, the papacy and the false prophet who is Sunday apostate protestantism?.God will use angels to protect his people during the fall of the seven last plagues . Will you be protected? Will you be shielded? Now is the time to study the 3angels message, read Ellen g White books the Spirit of prophecy and receive the righteousness of Jesus who only will avail in these last days? The list of the books of the bible of the minor prophets. They are called minor prophets not because they are less important. But they are called minor prophets because the books are smaller. It is very likely that this name minor prophets was inspired by men and not God .
Zephaniah
The book of Zephaniah is about coming judgments . It has a double application on the judgments with Babylon and the end of the world . As we see when Jesus also saw Jerusalem destruction when He sat in front of the temple with his disciples. We see in that the warning of the destruction of the world in our days .
Here too other nations are warned as well as Israel . As God loves everyone He warns us of what is coming so that we can escape the judgments. We know that the world prefers to follow the crowd rather than follow the bible . But the bible says that we need to listen to God even if nobody is paying attention .
Jesus said that the end of the world will be a terrible surprise to most people . Even as this message was given frequently most people minds are closed up and they will be be awaken by a terrible nightmare understanding that they are lost forever and that these warnings were not fairy tales but real .
Haggai
The book of Haggai is 4 sermons to bring the Jews back to work in rebuilding the temple of Jerusalem in the times of Zerubbabel . After the Jews returned to Israel after being captives in Babylon 70 years. They had opposition in rebuilding the temple, but Haggai, inspired by the Holy Spirit motivates the people to finish the work .
Zechariah
The book of Zechariah is also a motivation for the Jews to rebuild the temple that has been unfinished for 15 years. The book of Zechariah is a series of 8 visions given by God to the purpose of giving hope to Israel and assurance that their enemies would be punished for hindering the temple reconstruction. The book of Zechariah also has prophecies about Jesus written 600 years before his birth. The list of books of the bible of the old testament shows that most of the new testament verses are taken from the old testament. Thus we can conclude that the old testament is also valid as the new testament .
Malachi
What I remember of the book of Malachi is one of the last verse that says all the proud will be ashes. And that the righteous will trample on the wicked as they will be ashes under their feet. We see here one of the worse sin in the bible the which is almost never preached about. And churches today are filled with many proud people because these terrible sins are not rebuked and they are thought of no importance.
It will be a terrible awakening for all the proud that take the glory to themselves of what God gives them and lie saying they did it when they find out that no proud can enter heaven. But only those who are meek and lowly like Jesus . The book also ends saying that God wil send an end time prophet before the last day . In Revelation 12 Jesus says his true church keeps the sabbath and has a true prophet. This true church also preaches the 3 angels message and the sanctuary message . This end time prophet can be none other than Ellen g White .
Matthew
This is the first of the 4 gospels which is a divinely inspired account of the life of Jesus . In fact this is only a fraction of the life of Jesus on earth as we know many more things happened during his life. I remember one of the first time I was touched by Jesus is when I went to see the Jesus movie close ot my house in south of France .
I remember being touched by the love and kindness of Jesus . The which is so different from this world and society . I remember concepts like love your enemies and turn the other cheek. Also do not seek the first place, or to be humble kind, honest. Those are revolutionary concepts in a world where everybody is seeking for the first place. Where most people think they are better and mainly think on their own things. That was really something else and so interesting in learning about the kingdom of God .
I remember that Jesus said My kingdom is not of this world . And wee see that plainly when we read the gospel of Jesus . It is not something to read one time n as we get caught up in this world and society and we need a fresh revelation of Jesus , his humility, honesty and kindness to remember that His kingdom is not of this world . The list of books of the bible start in the new testament with Matthew.
Mark
One of the most amazing things in the bible is that we see that God is very different that we humans are. In fact many people look at christians and find out that most of them are not like Jesus. Humble, honest, kind. And they reject the bible . But did God every say that He was responsible for the christians behaviour? No as we all can do as we want , and God will not force us to do his will.
In fact one things people do not understand is that most christians will end up in hell it is plain when we real revelation that says Babylon will be destroyed. Babylon is most christian churches. Also Jesus said that many will try to enter heaven and will not be able. The fantastic thing is that Jesus is so different that we are and He said He came to reveal his Father to us . Did you know that unless we overcome our pride, selfishness, unloving and dishonest character we wil not be able to enter heaven ? Jesus said He that overcomes will enter heaven .
Luke
Luke was a gentile doctor called by Jesus . He also wrote the book of acts that portrays the travels of Paul and the apostles in the first century . Here we see the love of Jesus who because of his amazing love for you, chose before the foundation of the world to come die on the cross for you individually . Knowing that unless Jesus would die on the cross. Becaue of your sins, you would deserve to be destroyed forever. As you cannot take away even one of your sins .
But because Jesus loves you so much. He chose to come on earth and take your punishment . God could have destroyed the earth and make a new one. It was a struggle for Him to take such a decision to not destroy earth and have to endure 6000 years of sin, suffering and sorrow.
John
This is the most famous and most read book in the bible from the young apostle John who was the favourite apostle of Jesus . John ended up his life on the island of Patmos where he was exiled for his faith . There John also received the visions of the book of revelation . Here we have amazing chapters like John 3 where Jesus talks to Nicodemus a church leader who does not understand anything Jesus tells him .
This is a proof that many religious people may claim to be something but they do not understand the spiritual things of the bible . They understand things literal it means that their heart is caught up in wordly earthly things and they are not lead by God . Spiritual things are only spiritually understood and we see that God can open the understanding of spiritual things to whom He wills . It does not depend on which diploma we have, but much more on who God iscalling to understand His Word and do his will .
Acts of the Apostles
The acts of the apostles is the amazing story of the list of the books of the bible that tells us what happened after Jesus died and the apostles went on to turn the world upside down . In fact Paul could say that in his lifetime the whole world heard the truth that Jesus died on the cross. The book of acts is mostly about the apostle Paul who travels to places where Jesus is mostly unknown and where many pagans receive him sometimes with love, sometimes with extreme difficulty .
Paul is an amazing example for the christians as today the christian world is mostly dead because of lack of telling others about the love of Jesus . A christians life is completely dry when one does not share their faith with others. The book of acts is an amazing motivation for any christian who have left their first love and see that sharing their faith with others is the most important thing they can do in their lives.
Romans
The book of Romans is one of my favourite book in the bible. Here it talks about the righteousness of Jesus being what we need to do Gods will . When all the world and the christian world try to be good on their own . It is like someone who tries to turn a bicycle into a Ferrari . It cannot be done it is impossible .
Sadly most christians try to do an impossibility .
To make human beings who have no righteousness to be righteousness from doing thing and by works. It cannot happen as only God has righteousness. And men is evil from birth . Paul said he was the greatest of sinners? That when he wanted to do good, evil was present in him . The book of Romans is this amazing book along with Galatians about righteousness by faith the which thousands of christian churches are perishing for the want of that experience .
1 Corinthians
In the early church they were gentiles pagans who were converted to the truth and Jews who accepted Jesus . Both had very different ways to worship God . The Jews sometimes still kept circumcision and such things that were not required in the early church . The pagans sometimes brought in pagan feasts and traditions that were not commended by God .
2 Corinthians
Issues such as meat sacrificed to idols were brough in the Corinthian church. Here we see that Paul did not say the idol was anything and said those who have a weak concience do not eat nd those who know the idol is nothing eat that meat. It did not talk about clean and unclean meats as Revelation 18 still talks about unclean animals. Peter said I never ate anything unclean .
How come Peter 30 years after Jesus died still never ate anything unclean if the unclean food were cleansed by the cross of Jesus . This is because the cross of Jesus did not clean pork which was created to eat the thrash of the earth and clean the ground . The system of animals and their function was not cleansed at the cross. Pork and shrimp still were designed to eat thrash and when we eat them we still eat the garbage they have inside .
Galatians
The book of Galatians is ont of the most important it has verses that explain that those who want to get saved by the law are working an ilpossibility . That they are separated from Jesus . Today most christians believe that all who name the name of Jesus are christians . The bible says it is not true . That those who want to get saved by works are separated from Jesus.
They ca claim to be christians but they are not . T
he list of the books of the bible tells us that this issue of righteousness by faith, which in fact is an experience more than a message . Is the most important bible truth we can understand . We can only make it to heaven by Jesus righteousness and understanding that our works are worthless to commend us to God . That is us there is nothing good and worthwhile . That while we continue to seek something good in us we will waste our time . Asking Jesus for his righteousness everyday is the only solution for the sin problem in our lives.
Ephesians
The book of Galatians is about the power of God in the christian life. The love of God who bestows his gifts to the church so that we can do the work is telling others with power that God is real, that there is no evolution. That the fallen churches will receive the mark of the beast. And that unless we all come out from babylon the sunday churches and come in the 3 angels message , we shall be lost.
Philippians
The book of Philipians shows how much someone can suffer for Jesus . Here Paul was I jail for his faith . The gospel was advancing and many pagan cities and countries were knowing that Jesus loved them truly and died so that they could be saved eternally by faith .
Philipians chapter 2 for example urges us to be like Jesus who became a servant and Paul tell sus that as most people care for themselves only . We should spend time helping those in need and seeking the welfare of all people .
Colossians
Colosians chapter 2 urges us to beware of philosophy which turns us from Jesus . Today we see that happening where most people believe their own reasoning powers rather than the bible . This is philosophy the truth and belief in human reasoning, human devising, human inventions , rather that following the bible only .
So many people today have turned away from the bible . Many christians when someone peaks they do not believe this person is lead by God they worship human reasoning and when a preacher speaks they believe it is his own words. When in fact the bible says that we can only understand the bible by the Holy Spirit .
Unless the Holy Spirit enlightens our minds we cannot see spiritual things not explain them correctly . Human worship has taken the place of worshiping God even in most christian churches. How could the world go further than this very immense offense against God .
1 Thessalonians
A good example of this is Tessalonians chapter 3 where Paul says that the gospel did not come in word of men but in the power of God . Also if men could explain the bible itself then why would there be needs of bibles? Why would Jesus sent the Holy Spirit if our reasoning powers could explain the bible? The Holy Spirit is also given so that power can attend the preaching of the Word. Not only power in preaching, but power in touching the hearts of men in convicting them of sin . This only God can do .
2 Thessalonians
Chapter two of Tessalonians tells us about a falling away to come . This is in line with Daniel 7 which says that the papacy is the antichrist and would reign1260 years. The power given by Justinian to the pope arrived after this falling away came in 321 ad . Interesting that the books of the bible work together and complement each other .
