This is a very important topic because one can be a religious person and belong to the world . As most people follow the crowd, most people follow what their local society does . Even if it is contrary to the truth and to the bible and God wants . Most people have this very strong drive to follow others and to not follow the truth . Did Jesus have many policies in the bible ?
We saw that in the times of Noah, most people followed the scientist s of the day who said there will be no flood . Most people in Jesus day followed the pharisee who said, this Jesus cannot be the son of God . They were the political and the religious leaders of the day . Most people during the dark ages followed the papacy and the inquisition . Most people in this time, instead of leaving this killing inquisition machine church, they preferred to stay in it and to follow the crowd .
Most people would care less about the truth . Because society is not designed to follow the truth but to follow the leaders . Like animals follow the leaders. And if the swines falls into a precipice, then all swines do the same . Swine love following the crowd and the majority, that they do so to the point of dying in a cliff .
Human beings love following crowds to the point of wanting to be destroyed in eternal hell, rather than follow an obscure minority Did Jesus have many policies in the bible ? In fact Jesus created human beings so that they could have freedom to create a society they wanted as long as they loved God and others. But the Jesus of the bible and the Jesus of many Christians today is totally different . Let us remember that the only true Jesus is the one in the bible .
If truth is important enough for someone, then they will follow the truth and not the crowds. There are so many examples in the bible of people following the crowds and receiving consequences. Israel as a nation wanted to be like the crowd, like other nations . And they asked a king . When that happened God was angry and punished them by sending thunder. God said They have rejected me .
When Israel started to worship pagan deities, they wanted to look like other nations and they were not wanting to be weird and different . Did Jesus have many policies in the bible ? Jesus was different and Jesus is the truth, Jesus said give back to Caesar what belongs to Caesar. Yes when you follow the crowd people will not like you . But the question is will you please God or men . Because we do not see God and his disapproval . And we do see human beings who love us when we do and speak as they do Then we follow the majority .
JA 4 4 'Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. '
For most people, they go by majority opinion, or they follow their reasoning powers. As if human beings could be trusted . In fact human minds are so corrupt, that God had to send the bible so that we could know what the truth is . When God made Adam and Eve there was no fall, thus human beings did not need a bible .And the bible says that God visited human beings, until they became too numerous .
GE 4 26 'And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the Lord. ' Instead of talking to God face to face, from that time , human beings called on the name of the Lord by prayer . But this story of following the crowd, or the truth goes back to before creation . In fact at one time half of the angels were on Satan s side in heaven Ellen g White tells us . Then revelation says that one third of the angels fell with Satan .
Many angels did not know the issue clearly and joined Satan who was so beloved for so many years, worshiping and serving God , until iniquity was found in his heart. By the way the reason why evil exists is pride and seeking the first place which created jealousy in the heart of Satan for not being first.
Each time you are not first and you are humbled thank God , because God is helping you to not fall by pride . RE 12 4 'And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. ' If the truth is important to you, then you will follow the truth and not the majority who are often against the truth .
EX 23 2 'Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment: ' The bible says that the prince of this world , or this society is Satan . Do you love to follow what is cool ? Then you are very likely being a puppet for Satan . Did Jesus have many policies in the bible ? Jesus was very stipple and did not make apostles sign contracts to follow him . Jesus did not make people sign a waver to pray for them . In this we see our society is really sick and filled with toxins . Something is very wrong for people to be so evil and requiring so many ceremonies to quiet the evil of their hearts.
EPH 2 2 'Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: ' Note that the verse is not saying that all non christians are childern of disobedience. Note that it is not saying that All Christians are children of obedience . Reading our Earth last day bile channel blog, you will find out that most Christians are on the side of evil and Satan . Did Jesus have many policies in the bible ? Jesus goal for life is to enjoy life and be happy . How can one be happy with so many policies . It is a lack of trust of others .
1 CO 13 5 'Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil ' Todays society is a suspecting society . Suspecting comes from Satan . If you are seeking to see if you fond something wrong in others. Your minds has nothing to do with the mind of Jesus . Jesus loved and accepted people from wherever they came from . Of course if someone has something really wrong that you meet .
Like they have a gun, or do drugs or something like this you need to be careful . But this suspecting or thinking evil like the bible calls is is from Satan . It means when society does such a thing, people cannot love each other. It is a very sick and unloving society . Where everybody is afraid of everyone . Plus judging people without having any proof, is also what the bible calls Thinking evil .
Evil thinkers are not Christians . Yet many Christians are evil thinkers. They have a very intense sense of paranoia, they are very intrusive and inquisitive. The opposite of who Jesus is . Did Jesus have many policies in the bible ? Jesus had no policy, Jesus welcomed people as they were . Jesus never though to see if the person was evil for the present society . Jesus is the creator of all human beings . And he loves you so much , that he wants all people to repent .
AC 17 30 'And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:'
Evil thinking also comes from people who think themselves better than others. The world is filled with this evil . One can be atheists or christian or else , if they think they are good, they are evil . It is as simple as that. Pharisee thought themselves to be good . Yet Jesus said
MT 23 33 'Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? '
The thinking evil, looks like, to the world the person is moral and good . The bible and Jesus call this person evil . Only God can judge , only God really knows the heart of someone . We are not judges and we are not called to judge others .
Jesus came to give us happiness, joy, prosperity, friends, and peace. A society where everybody would judge and condemn others is not a happy society . This society would soon become very cold and unfriendly . Like we see in some countries .
JN10 10 'The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. ' Each individual is responsible for how his city is doing . If a group of people in a city starts to act evil, then the rest will follow. Be the person that is gentle , kind, honest and loving . Did Jesus have many policies in the bible ? Be the person who makes life easy for others, instead of filling their lives with policies, rules and things to do and hoops to jump into .
This is a sick society and religious minds who think themselves better have always been the ones to make life more difficult. Because they know deep down they are evil . They need rules and things to do to quiet their evil minds. After a long day , when they have followed many rules they feel they are a good person , because they have obeyed things that matter for them . Not understanding that those things God regards as worthless .
Jesus called apostles saying Follow me . He did not make them pass a test. He did not give them a try out period. He did not fire them when they did not succeed right away . Jesus did not have a hierarchy in the apostles . All were equal .
Jesus did not gave people sign a contract to become members of his christian church . Jesus did not ask people if they have a theology diploma to preach with him . Jesus did not ask and wait to see if the person was perfect , before they could join the christian church . Noah did not make people show guarantee for people to come in the ark . Noah did not wait to see if the person have a good credit record to enter the ark .
Moses did not check people belief system , to see if they could leave to Egypt with him . Moses did not make sure everyone followed the fundamental doctrines to leave for Egypt . O what a society we live in that is so far away from Jesus and the bible . Repeat after me friend Father forgive my sins, give me your righteousness, help me to follow the truth , in the name of Jesus amen
